how much power can i build in 2 months?

380 kg.

after running the marathon, i wanted a new physical challenge. something that builds power instead of endurance. the goal is 150kg deadlifts, 130kg squats and 100kg bench press, each of these weights with 5 sets for 5 reps. combined, that's 380kg.

start date: november 2025
timeline: 2 months

starting point

current weights (5x5): deadlifts 110kg, 90kg squats, and 60kg bench.
current bodyweight: 68.5kg. current measurements: arms: 32.5cm, chest: 95cm, legs: 52.5cm.

that means i need to add:

  • 40kg to my deadlift
  • 40kg to my squat
  • 40kg to my bench

the hardest challenge will be the bench probably.

the plan

my plan is to go to the gym 4x per week:

  • 1x heavy deadlifts
  • 1x heavy squats
  • 1x heavy bench
  • 1x light squats & light bench

increase weights by 5kg every time on the heavy ones. always just 5x5, then go home again.
